Chúa Giêsu bị Philatô kết án tử giá.

First station: Jesus is condemned to death

Introduction - Mở Đường Thánh Giá

· In the beginning God created man in His image and likeness so that man can share in His divine life through grace. Unfortunately man used his free will to betray God’s plan and thus enabled sin and death come into the world. However God still loves man and let man know that He will definitely save him. “Here is the Man”, the Savior of the world as God promised. This Man is also true God. But the then authority of the Jews as God’s Chosen People in particular and Roman authority as pagan in general could not believe that the invisible God, who is Spirit Himself, can become man like them. That’s why they condemned the God-Man Jesus Nazareth to death on the cross as a criminal of blasphemy!

Cảnh Đường Thánh Giá - The Scene of the Station

Theo lệnh của Hội Đồng Do Thái, đám thuộc hạ giải Chúa Giêsu đến dinh quan tổng trấn Rôma. Dân chúng kéo theo xem rất đông. Sau khi tra hỏi và ra lệnh hành hạ Chúa Giêsu cho dân Do Thái bõ tức, Philatô mang Người ra trước mặt họ mà nói: “Ecce Homo” - “Này là Người". Dân chúng liền hô lên: “Đóng đanh hắn vào thập giá! Đóng đanh hắn vào thập giá! Đóùng đanh hắn vào thập giá!" Philatô: "Há ta lại đi đóng đanh vua của các người hay sao?" Họ đồng thanh tuyên xưng: "Chúng tôi không có vua nào khác ngoài Cêsar". Thấy thế, truyền gia nhân mang cho mình một chậu nước, Philatô rửa tay mà tuyên bố: "Thế thì các người cứ việc đem ngài đi mà đóng đanh vào thập giá".

· Jesus, You are Christ, the Son of God. In the fullness of time You came into the world in flesh to testify to the truth that You were sent by God, Who really loves us human creature and wants to communicate His Divine Life to us through Your Incarnation, Passion and Resurrection. As the Way, Your humanity is to accept all injustice, as the Truth, Your Messianic mission is to fulfill Your Father’s saving plan, and as the Life, Your Spirit is to overcome human evil with divine goodness. On the contrary, in our daily Christian life, a life is to be died, buried and raised with You through the Church’s Baptism, we disciples and witnesses of Yours not only are afraid of being misunderstood due to Your cause, but also condemn You to death in our brothers and sisters, by passing negative judgments on them, especially by hating them or sometimes by taking revenge on them!

Nam (PK1): Như viên đá xanh ngủ yên giấc mộng lành, con say tiếng ca quên tình người bao la! Trong nỗi ước mơ bờ môi khẽ tạ tội. Vâng, vâng Chúa ơi dương trần này chơi vơi.

Nữ (PK2): Như cơn lốc xoay làm nên kiếp đọa đầy, con như ngất ngây trên đường trần vui say! Tay ôm khói hương Người đâu vắng đêm trường? Không mang nhớ thương cho lòng đầy tơ vương.

Chung (ĐK): Con giơ cao tay (tất cả giơ tay lên hát) xin tạ lỗi những ngày đã qua, theo chân loài người lên án Cha hiền hòa. Con giơ cao tay xin lần nữa những lời thứ tha, cho ân tình đầy ngọt môi say trầm ca.

Lạy Chúa Giêsu là Đường, là Sự Thật và là Sự Sống, xin cho Kitô-hữu chúng con là môn đệ của Chúa biết bỏ mình đi, vác thập giá mình mà theo Chúa.

Our Jesus, You are the Way, the Truth and the Life, help us Christian, Your disciples, know how to deny ourselves, take up the cross and follow You.

Second station: Jesus bears his Cross.

Introduction - Mở Đường Thánh Giá

· In the beginning God placed man in the garden of original justice and authentic freedom. Unfortunately man used his free will to betray God’s plan, and as a result man has undergone his fate of suffering and death. “Here is the Man”, the Savior of the world sent by God Who loves the world in the extent of giving up His Only Son. That’s why the God-Man Jesus, in order to share with human being’s unfortunate due to their original sin, and thus to save them from sin and death, willingly accepted the cross, a symbolic reality of sinfulness and death.

Cảnh Đường Thánh Giá - The Scene of the Station

Được lệnh của quan tổng trấn, bọn lính hùng hổ xông đến xô Chúa Giêsu đi. Họ khệ nệ nâng cây thập giá nặng nề đang nằm dưới đất lên đặt trên vai Chúa Giêsu. Tên lính cầm búa hô to: "Nào mời vua Do Thái tiến bước cho tới đỉnh vinh quang của ngài". Trịnh trọng hơn, Người lính cầm giáo cúi đầu trước Chúa Giêsu mà thưa: "Tâu vua Do Thái, chúng tôi xin hộ tống ngài cho đến khi ngài đăng quang trên ngai tòa thập giá của ngài nhé". Thế là Chúa Giêsu bắt đầu lê từng bước nhọc mệt đi về phía đám đông dân chúng...

· Jesus, You are Christ, the Son of God. In the fullness of time You came into the world in flesh to testify to the truth that You were sent by God, Who really loves us human creature and wants to communicate His Divine Life to us through Your Incarnation, Passion and Resurrection. As the Way, Your humanity is to bear the cross under Your shoulder, as the Truth, Your Messianic mission is to fulfill Your Father’s saving plan, and as the Life, Your Spirit is to transform sin and death into love and life. On the contrary, in our daily Christian life, a life is to be died, buried and raised with You through the Church’s Baptism, we disciples and witnesses of Yours not only are afraid of sufferings and sacrifices due to Your cause, but also place on You the cross of sinful desires and immoral acts!

Nam (PK1): Ngày xưa Chúa Kitô thập giá vác trên vai, vòng gai quấn trên đầu Người ra pháp trường. Người đi chết cho tôi, Người đi chết cho anh, chết cho em, đi chết cho đời ngày hôm nay.

Nữ (PK2): Ngày nay Chúa Kitô tình mến thắm con tim, tình thương nhuốm máu đào Người đi cứu đời. Người đang sống trong tôi, Người đang sống trong anh, sống trong em, đang sống trong lòng người hôm nay.

Chung (ĐK): Người ơi có nhớ, Người đã chết cho đời. Người ơi có hay, Xin cho Người vòng tay.
