Introduction - Mở Đường Thánh Giá

· In the beginning God created man as a community of love and life. Unfortunately man used his free will to betray God’s plan and thus became divided in himself, with each other and with nature. However God still loves man and let man know that He will definitely save him. “Here is the Man”, the Savior of the world as God promised. As a true Man, He does belong to human society as one of its members, a society needs to return to its original unity and solidarity. That’s why the God-Man Jesus let His Saving Cross to be shared by a man named Simon of Cyrene.

Thấy Chúa Giêsu lảo đảo chực ngã, tên lính cầm giáo tiến về phía đám đông, kéo ra một người thanh niên lực lưỡng tên là Simong và bắt anh ta vác đỡ thập giá Chúa Giêsu mà nói: "Ngươi phải vác đỡ thập giá với hắn, kẻo hắn chết ở dọc đường thì hỏng chuyện". Simong liền tiến lại đỡ phần cuối của thập giá Chúa Giêsu đang vác để giúp Người tiến lên đồi tử giá.

· Jesus, You are Christ, the Son of God. In the fullness of time You came into the world in flesh to testify to the truth that You were sent by God, Who really loves us human creature and wants to communicate His Divine Life to us through Your Incarnation, Passion and Resurrection. As the Way, Your humanity is to accept every human cooperation, as the Truth, Your Messianic mission is to fulfill Your Father’s saving plan, and as the Life, Your Spirit is to make human acts spiritually fruitful. On the contrary, in our daily Christian life, a life is to be died, buried and raised with You through the Church’s Baptism, we disciples and witnesses of Yours not only are afraid of sharing in Your saving mission but also take away Your graces through our inordinate life!

Nam (PK1): Ghé vai ôm thập tự, ngước mắt nhìn lên cao. Ôi Giêsu thương đau, vì con Chúa gục đầu. Bóng Chúa mang nhục hình, đứng giữa trời điêu linh. Thương con nên hy sinh, chịu mang kiếp tội tình.

Nữ (PK2): Ghé vai ôm thập tự, cúi xuống bàn tay khô. Thân con như hoang sơ, chìm trong kiếp ngục tù. Chúa ơi con trở về, giữa chán chường đam mê. Đôi chân xiêu lao đao, tình con chết nghẹn ngào.

Chung (ĐK): Nay con xin vác lấy, thập giá đã lắm chua cay. Mong Cha thương đốt cháy cuộc sống chất ngất mê say. Con xin muôn dấu ái, vòng kết những cánh hoa tươi. Cho thêm hương sắùc mới, ngày tháng quyết đổi thay.

Lạy Chúa Giêsu là Đường, là Sự Thật và là Sự Sống, xin cho Kitô-hữu chúng con là môn đệ của Chúa biết bỏ mình đi, vác thập giá mình mà theo Chúa.

Introduction - Mở Đường Thánh Giá

· In the beginning God created man in His image and likeness so that man can share in His divine life through grace. Unfortunately man used his free will to betray God’s plan and thus hide his face from God. However God still loves man and let man know that He will definitely save him. “Here is the Man”, the Savior of the world as God promised. As a true Man, Jesus has a real human face. That’s why the God-Man Jesus let His face, which was disfigured by bloody torture, swollen striking, spitting mucus and thorny crown, to the extent that It became a most scornful and cursing ooàect in the eye of the world, was wiped by a woman named Veronica.

Cảnh Đường Thánh Giá - The Scene of the Station

Càng đi xa, sức càng kiệt dần, cho dù có người nâng đỡ thập giá cho, Chúa Giêsu cũng lảo đảo chúi đầu về một bên đường. Lợi dụng lúc Chúa Giêsu chúi về chỗ của mình, bà Vêrônica liền trao chiếc khăn cầm sẵn trên tay cho Chúa Giêsu để Người lau mặt của Người. Chúa Giêsu dừng lại cầm lấy chiếc khăn mà lau mặt của mình. Một người đàn ông đứng bên cạnh bàø lên tiếng trách móc: "Hắn là một tên đại ma đầu mà bà còn thương hắn được sao?".

· Jesus, You are Christ, the Son of God. In the fullness of time You came into the world in flesh to testify to the truth that You were sent by God, Who really loves us human creature and wants to communicate His Divine Life to us through Your Incarnation, Passion and Resurrection. As the Way, Your humanity is to endure all human insult, as the Truth, Your Messianic mission is to fulfill Your Father’s saving plan, and as the Life, Your Spirit is to renew the face of the earth. On the contrary, in our daily Christian life, a life is to be died, buried and raised with You through the Church’s Baptism, we disciples and witnesses of Yours not only are afraid of maltreatment due to Your cause, but also disfigure You when we are scornful of Your least brothers and sisters!

Nữ (PK2): Đã mấy mùa qua lang thang dãi dầu, tìm một an vui, tìm một nương náu, có thấy gì đâu, có thấy gì đâu, phù vân đấy thôi, hư vô một mầu.

Chung (ĐK): Hãy trông lại chỉ một giây thôi, hãy ban lời chỉ một câu thôi. Chúa đã từng dựng nên đất trời, tình Ngài một chút đủ vui một đời.
